Spectacular 750m2 painting about Europe in Marres, Maastricht

In March, we open The Painted Bird, a colossal mural painting with a mesmerizing soundtrack that will immerse visitors in a universe of image and sound. Made by 16 artists, the painting will cover the entire interior of Marres, with beautiful and frightening images, including a high tech supermarket, the last remnant of a natural forest, a virtual detention room and a new life festival in the year 2050.
