MEET THE ARTIST MIKE MOONEN: ‘On the road with Mike’

Mike Moonen collects ordinary materials that are often overlooked. For one of his works in Rumour Has It he gathered pieces of toilet paper from all kinds of places and used these in a new work of art. On Sunday February 1st, Moonen takes us with him on his quest for the ordinary and presents everyday Maastricht in a new light.

MEET THE ARTIST GRIET MOORS & VINCENT VREEKE: ‘New abstraction in the art of painting’

Young artists who engage in the classic art of painting seem to become the exception. Griet Moors and Vincent Vreeke were invited to participate in Rumour Has It because of their particular interpretation of painting. During this third and final edition of ‘Meet the Artist’, Moors and Vreeke speak about painting and define certain choices in their practices.
