Chris Kabel (1975) graduated in 2001 from the Design Academy Eindhoven. In 2002 he moved to Rotterdam where he started his design pratice. He developed projects for architects, cultural institutions and design labels like Droog, Moooi, Koizumi, Royal VKB, Levi’s en Alessi. His work is in the collections of the Fondation Nationale d'Art Contemporain, Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, Museum Boijmans van Beuningen Rotterdam and the Hangaram Design Museum in Seoul. He is a professor at the Design Academy Eindhoven and at the Ecole Cantonale d’Art inLausanne (ECAL).

For the Winter Anti Depression Show he created a reflexology floor and the Blue Sky Lamp. Tonight he will reveal how he seized the blue summer sky.
